can u solo a djm with root? if so what root? pistoleers or smugglers thanks.

well master smug root is 40 secs, so with a RM snare or another root you can pretty much assure they'll never get in range

Yes you can do it, and in theory its very easy, in practice , with LOS and the fact that its hard to hit a djm more than 50% of the time even with 300+ accuracy, and often miss 5 or 6 shots in a row expect lots of trips to the cloner, but that said they are very killable with a Msmuggler/Mrifleman template.

dude you wrote one sentence....take the time to type it out right 
and if im understanding your question correctly, then no....pistoleers dont have a snare shot, just a root shot, and its about half as effective as the smuggler root shot. Plus, they only have a 35m range, which means less of a margin for kiting, and you dont get any free mistakes against a DJM. You have to have smuggler and either pistol (for double root) or rifle/carbine (for root/snare)

I havn't tried using stopping shot, I just use concussion. Assuming you always have him snared when you can't have him rooted, and you don't lose LOS (this will make him retreat if your unlucky) then you'll be fine.

Have fun with the mission. You will probably end up stuck in the prison cell. I guess you can do it, but its such a pain when you can go in but can't come out. I have killed 3 DJM, about 10 DJK and maybe 6 Dark adepts in the last month. I would rather get them when I see them then have to get deathblowed to get out of the prison on Dathomir. If they ever fix it though I may have to go imperial. But then I hear that running quest missions repeatedly is bannable.
