I've repaired my BARC at garageson several occasions after it has been disabled. Works just fine for me.

Have you tried that post pub 18 too? And just repaired a disabled speeder or just any time?

I've not had occasion to get my BARC blown up since Pub 18, although I have done the usual "maintenance" repairs on it at garages (both in NPC and player cities). Pre-pub 18, I've repaired it (after it had been completely disabled) several times at garages, as well as the usual maintenance type thing.

I can confirm that they're still repairable at a garage post-pub 18. I had mine blown to smithereens earlier this evening and dreaded having to look for a repair kit. On a hope and a prayer, I pulled it out at a garage in a player city, and low and behold, brand spanking new.

Okay so maybe it works only when it is completely destroyed then.

Tried to repair it both in player cities and npc cities with no luck. ( I could repair my swoop fine there)

Yea still repairable at garages (as intended I think) post pub. 18. The artisan kits seem to be useful for when you're out in the middle of nowhere and it goes boom, depending on the cost of course as most who sell these kits try to get millions for them on my server at least.

Or can you use a garage too? I tried and it wouldn't work :-/ always though that garages would work too.

Oh, yes. It has to be completely destroyed for it to be repaired for free, but it's still completely repairable, as any other vehicle is, after taking minimal damage/decay at any regular garage as well.
