Truly, unless you have the resources to afk camp spawns with 3 afk alts, or you can kill DJM's and DJK's, your chances at looting things that are fetching top dollar right now are less than stellar.
Kashyyyk seems to be popular these days for loot, but if you don't have RotW, that's sort of out of the question (and based on the feedback from the tech support forums, I wouldn't rush out to buy it at this moment with all of the problems post-pub 18). If you have JTL and BARC kits are hot on your server, you can always go and mine asteroids and charge an insane CPU for them.
For slower, but more reliable income, you can harvest creature resources for a friendly, neighborhood chef (or AS - since we tend to pay the most for critter stuff) and make a bunch. I've paid out over 10 million between only a handful of people in the past 2 days alone. Look for a good spawn, and harvest the living snot out of it. Ask around to see if anybody has a bonus program (like, stacks 100k and above fetch a certain cpu) and then hunt exclusively for that person. You not only have a chance to make a ton of money, but you usually end up making friends with a person who has the ability to help you with more than just money, and making friends with crafters who make things you regularly use is never a bad idea.

Ouch, lol. Well, hrm. If you want to start a business, there's always mining. Maintaining harvs can be a pain, but if you get yourself positioned on good spawns, the money should roll in regularly. Of course, that's not the quick and dirty loot you were looking for, lol.
OH! If you have a lot of patience, go out looking for the recycler parts. They're not ridiculously high priced, but they fetch a decent amount on my server, especially for the level of NPC that you need to kill. If you end up with enough parts, you can either sell them individually or put the recyclers together and auction them off for more.

Go to the warren and kill Cyborgs and imperial officers there. I got a nice +7 double light saber speed from there
