Thread: What happened to Loot Kit pieces? Rug, Gong, Etc.?

Hello, Honored Players!
I'm a pure crafting template: Master Tailor, Master Artisan, Master Merchant, Architect 4000(well, I have just enough Scout to Mask Scent my pretty little butt out of getting chased bythose oh-so-dangerous Crazed Durnis and such).So I depend on the fighting prowess of others to fill the bazaar and vendors with all the delightful loot I love!
My question is: What's happened to all of the old Loot Kit parts? The Rug pieces, Gong pieces, etc. Bloodfin is practically empty of them. There was a time when people couldn't GIVE them away, there were so many around. Are they not dropping anymore? Are people just going out to get them anymore?
I got a good deal on some Rug Adhesive (which in the past was the one piece you couldn't find) only to find out, there are no other pieces for the rug available in the whole galaxy except for one thread on a vendor that was listed at 80k.
My lekkus promptly wilted.
I usually try forum search first for answers, but forum search is currently down, so I apologize in advance if the answer is listed hear already. I'm not veryfamiliar with this forum (I haunt the Tailor forums: FLAUNT YOUR FASHION!), but I hope someone can help me out. Thanks in advance!

The loot kit items stopped dropping several publishes back; don't remember exactly which it was.

Unfortunately it was many publishes ago, I believe the time the posters started dropping. Adhesives still rarely drop, but if you can't find the parts the adhesives are no good anyways. Supposedly they were replacing all the Loot Kit items with new ones that has not happened which many of us are not happy about.

Thanks to you all! I never thought I'd have access to the adhesive but not the other pieces. LOL. Ah, well! I appreciate the fast responses very, very much.

I just came across blue rug adhesive, threw it in kit, and got my blue rug, so it does still work.

Indeed if you can find all the pieces necerssary you can still make the loot kits..however it's finding the piece's to actually make them due to the fact that no mob's drop them..however the blue rug adhesive is still in-game,it's a reward from a quest..

I looted an orange rug part 5 on Testcentre two days ago. First one I have seen in ages and ages. It was off a meatlump with a strange name near corolag.
whats a Meatlump doing on Tatooine?
