Do you think the devs will just stick the rec marauder armor in the expansion? If so, that sucks. I want to see something like a RIS, BH, Mando equivalent for Rec. I like the difficulty and challenge involved in looting the components for these pieces of armor. If they made marauder armor, for rec, the equivalent type of looting/questing involved in getting the rarer types of armor, I'll feel a bit short changed.

They should have just let Armorsmiths be able to make the armor how they want, not restrict it to class type. All armor would then be equally usable by all combat professions. Just order the stats how you want on the armor you like from your local friendly smith.

They said Rangers were being switched to having recon, would be nice if they brought out some sweet quest/loot based recon armour too.

it would be much cool that way, just like before the CU... And yeah people just tell which armor they want and what stats would be nice like that

i strongly dissagree if you remember pree cu everyone wore composite and you rarely saw anyone wearing anything else
the same would happen now only with composite and ris as there the only good looking armour types
however i do agree with loot based craftable recon but it needs nice graphics the maurader recon looks horribal

The marauder doesn't look too bad if we have a good color palette to work with. Just the default colors are ugly. Personally, I see them putting it in as another stop gap like the BH armor. The had alot of things borked up, the promised fixes and didn't deliver and then threw the BH's and AS's a bone to keep us from mutiny. I have a feeling that is what alot of the "missing" content for armor is being held for. (We have spots for more core enhancers and a "bio-mechanical cartridge" that have nothing to go in them).

Thats prolly not happenin anymore from what im hearing, rangers will stay the same armor class type (Battle) ... although... end game equiv of Mando or RIS would b super cool new content. /pep devs

your nutters soho, both factions have excellent armor, i wouldnt trade my rebel assault for anything.
i know many imps that feel the same about thier stormy armor.

Rangers are getting battle, as of the last time a dev said something about the armour.
But yeah, I miss the marauder recon.IMHO, the only semi-decent recon helmet is the imperial scout one and themarauder one. And unfortunetely, I'm a rebel. Oh well.At least there's a fair chance that the expansion has it, seeing as the artwork is all done already, they just need to introduce it to the game.

rangers ARE getting recon certs and not battle
having all armors the same is lame as hell. Keeping it different to the different classes is necessary. I don't want the all composite to return.
it is nice to have all the BH/CM NOT running around in recon.
pick and choose your armor and pick and choose your professions
(and I also want an elite quest type armor for recon)
