i have never got round to asking this but whats it for and whats needed for it i found some black canvas which goes in there but i have no idea what it's for lol
can anyone help by here to stop my state of confusion

You can combine it with a few other bits of loot and it creates a painting. One of the pieces lists the other parts you need, like a blank canvas, paint cartridge, viewscreen technical reader, broken viewscreenand paint dispersal unit. there's also a set of kit that makes paintings from broken datapads, there is some overlap in the needed parts.

Post this in other threads, hope it helps....
ok here we got... to make the pictures using the picture printer or the viewscreen printer you must put the components in the machine in order... if you put them out of order, you broke the printer and might as well delete it... the order for the printers are as followed:
Picture Printer:
Paint Cartridge
Blank Canvas
Paint Disperser
Broken Viewscreen (Tan)
Viewscreen Printer:
Paint Cartridge
Blank Canvas
Paint Disperser
Viewscreen Technical Reader
Broken Viewscreen (Grey / White)
