...we all had to sit around and tell each other how ridiculous this last patch was that it reverted the loot tables to a time that none of us remembered. We pondered about when the last time there were NO pearls or crystals dropping and how this would hurt our now nerfed economy. The Krayt Boom was fantastic. It took Flawless Pearl prices from 10mil+ to 2mil. It took Premium Pearls from 5mil to 1mil. It took Quality Pearls from 1 mil to 250-300k. SOE's plan was working...make these items available to ALL people. Not just the uber rich. When was there a time when Nyax dropped NO SEA's? Even when he was on the 3 hour 40min timer he was a dependable way to get a good loot. Now with him dropping NO SEA's...You will see the people that loot a good SEA be able to charge ungodly amounts for them again. When you could get 3 mil per buff session, it didn't matter what the price was...because in a few hours you could easily have 10mil+ in your account if you stuck with it. Gone are those days. We now live in a more friendly economy because ANYONE can go out and get a few pearls or SEA's. Now we are dependant on the few NS or SMC that we kill to drop something we might actually be able to use or sell. But even then you have the problem of not being able to loot the corpse all of the time. So where do we go from here. Tuskens are good for easy credits but the loot they drop is hardly wanted by all not to mention that most of the gear dropped by Tuskens would have to take place of armor, and in the days of 4 piece 80/90 comp armor suits, people won't sacrifice coverage for mods in most cases. NightSisters and Singing Mountain Clan are only going to wield good loot to the players with the templates to kill them quickly and efficiently. Swordsman and Rifleman are still the elite professions when it comes to PvE, but there are a good majority of NPC's on Dathomir that a Rifleman CAN'T touch. Swordsman still have the ability to solo the hardest mobs in the game. So what we concluded is this. People with money and the ability to kill will not get poorer and in all truth might just make money off the current situation and the people that don't have the ability to kill as efficientlywill have to adapt and overcome.
