title says it was it fixed? don't want to spend 3hours hunting and have no chance of getting a pearl

As far as i can tell its "fixed" atm. By that I mean that a few groups every now and then seem to be super lucky and loot pearls almost as much as meatlumbs drop junk while most groups can only dream of looting even 1 pearl.
