Thread: What are some of the favorite PvE looting profession templates?

Since I'm still trying to acquire recycler bits to build them... I've been having a grand time with MBH/MCM... However, I suspect this template might not be quite as useful against some high end content... I get waxed pretty easily in the geo caves, though juvie Krayt and Gorax seem to be doable, though a challenge...

That template is good when you're 1v1 with something, but bad with a group of things. My template (in my sig) is good for PvE and PvP, as the Full Auto Area can deal damage to many targets at once. So if you have like 5 things aggroed on you at once, you have a better chance of survival than concentrating on one at a time.

So either full auto is far superior to fanshot or carbineer has better defense or I'm missing something...

i personally use, mbh and mch, i find this really easy to loot, and i rarly get aggroed by large mobs, i use pets to pull people away then when there within about 40m i start shooting and repeat

Is the carbineer area attack on a seperate timer from teh BH area attack? I had tried MBH/MPistoleer previously and found that fanshot was on a seperate timer and it was quite nice for crowd control. Only problem was that I couldn't take on a Gorax or juvie Krayt solo... Stopping shot just didn't seem to keep them in place. 
However, I had not figured out snares, so I didn't give the template a true work out...

That's true, in any case, 3 V 1 is dangerous.
But if you threw in Suppression Fire, you could hold them off for a bit longer.
For Crowd Control, I'd just go Commando/Smuggler for AoE Roots and Delays.

If I could find a reliable way to get into 1 on 1 I'd be a vey happy camper with my current template!
