Thread: Why are GREY Broken Handheld Viewscreens so hard to find?!?

I have spent two days killing everything I can find and I haven't seen one yet! I've heard Binyares drop them, but I cant find a good recurring spawn, and I've cleared the POI several times with no luck.
I've heard sleemos drop them, but I've killed hundreds (I wish they would aggro me! I hate chasing them down!), but looted none!
If anyone has suggestions, I would really appreciate it!!

binyari hooligans drop them by the droves .. and reb npc's drop them rarely.

Just looted a great handheld viewscreen off ofa Garyn's Prowler just outside of Narmle on Rori. Never been able to loot one off the other people. Hope that helps. Best of all they agro you so no need to chase em.
Note: I was grinding through brawler and only looted the viewscreen after I hit master, they do drop, but are RARE.

I don't know the diff between the grey and the tan. Do they both say "Broken" on them?

Ones used with the picture printer, the other goes in a viewscreen printer.

I can't get the printers to work. I put the items in and nothing happens, its downright annoying.

Picture printer takes the brown broken viewscreen,paint dispersal,paint cartridge and blank canvas makes the droid in contrast and double helix also makes lootable pics like cargo port
View screen kit takes the grey broken viewscreen,paint dispersal,paint cartidge,blank canvas and viewscreen tech reader which makes the skyscraper pic aswell as the freedom and others
Best tip when assembling is to have spares ready and assemble at the same time otherwise if you think you can just put couple items in and then the others later then you can kiss the parts goodbye.
The new painting kit does not behave like the junk vendor kits,need to assemble at the same time otherwise the ones you put in has already disappeared and will need to start again

Yeah, I did that with the tan broken viewscreen, and got nothing. Did it all at the same time and got nothing. As a matter of fact, the dang thing ate my second blank canvas too and still gave me nothing. Wouldn't accept any more of the other components either.

Same thing happened to me twice now, hehe. I keep losing all the parts. Is it me or what??

A tan/light brown Broken handheld view screen is added to the Picture printer
the Grey broken handheld view screen (looks excatly like an ol RL gameboy) goes with the View Screen printer.
the best or easy way of getting the items needed (cept for the view screens!) is the Valarian swoop leader spawn next to the eisly cantina (not the lucky despot) stick around for an 10 minuts and you will have spare parts for say 5 complete kits (rember locked containers does have a good chance of hidding em grey view screens, dont just delete em, get em sliced )
