I have looted several diffrent kinds of iteams that are broken. Can they be fixed or are they worthless. Also how much does locked contianers go for

Corrupt datadisks can be fixed with a "datadisk repair kit". Broken viewscreens are used in the picture printer (the orange screens) or technical reader (grey screens). Broken datapads can be fixed with a "datapad repair kit". Not sure about other broken items. Well, I think it's unlikely there will be anything to fix a looted "broken lightsaber". 
Locked containers can be sold to low-level smugglers (they slice them for xp), although prices vary. I usually see them for 2-4k on the bazaar on Chilastra.
