Radiant is making 80% kinetic 80% base RIS that can easily be sliced to 90% base. Several sets have been made with barely over 100 to encumberance on the other end of the spectrum so not too shabby in my opinion.
If they add lightsaber resistance like they are hinting, it will definately be worth it.

What do you mean by "worth it"?
If you mean that it is usable in fight and uber (accordign to how difficult to get it), Mandalorian armor is worthless.
But if you count the great fun, the teamwork, the thought that you participate in one of the most challenging parts in the game successfully - its priceless.
I personally go for the second option.

As a kid, I never wanted to be Han Solo or Luke Skywalker or Darth Vader. I wanted to be Boba Fett.
Screw resistances. It's all about living the dreams I had as a kid. Mando is totally worth it.

At this point mando is worthless statwise but the tells and the reactions you recieve are awsome. Then again there also kinda hinting that mando will be the best armor in game once revamp hits. For BH's at least.

What about the posts of people having 90% resist mandalorian armor and such ?
Whats the "base" stats on a set of mandalorian, or is that completely random ?

I never saw mando over 60 or 70% resists.
But it's not about the stats! Apply this for the entire game.

lol thanks for the replies, i just think it would be good if the defensive values were proportional to the effort it takes to get it. altho i agree, therewould alot offun in getting it.

Try fighting night sisters naked then, the ones that dont run in fear will most likely rip you apart ![]()
True its about the looks and rareness of it also, but some degree of useability would be nice still

I don't think that people would use mando even if it has excellent stats.
I personally wouldn't ruin an armor for which I sweared my @ss off.
The comment referred to the view that everything are just stats - not a kimoglia or a krayt, but 40% cold resist and 300k ham and such things. This is wrong I think.
(Of course I go to NS hunt in a 80% composite with my best weapons, but that's irrelevant

You also mentioned RIS. Here is a quote from TH on another thread
Thunderheartwrote:
No, the drop rate for Giant Dune Kimogila scales will not be increased. RIS armor is equivalent to “epic quest” armor and as such, the drop rate is one of the only ways to control difficulty. RIS armor is meant to be this difficult to acquire. Because the various changes since launch, it certainly doesn’t seem that RIS is epic armor, but after the combat balance, all of these details will make more sense.

Mando armor stats are
SP-blast 65%
KIn-58%
Energy-58%
heat-58%
acid 58%
all peices are crafted with these stats.
The thing about making Mando armor is not about having the best armor, it is about havin fun and actually crating it
ANd like said earlier, apparently a Dev stated that Mando armor was already put in line with armor after the CU and is suppose to be the best after revamp., wheather this is still true or not is not known.
