First, did you put everything in at the same time? There is something of a bug that does not keep items from one session to the next. So, if you put in a technical reader today, then logged out before making the item, you would need to put in a technical reader again.
There is no assemble option. Once the kit has all required items in it, it assembles automatically.

if you dont mind my asking, where did you get the gray viewscreens for it? I was told Binyare pirates drop them, but all I got was technical readers and dispersal units after killing about 25-30 of them

I have placed all 5 items into the viewscreen reader. Now how do I make the item? there is no 'Assemble' option on the viewscreen reader.

I recently looted all the components fora viewscreen printer and placed them inside the container. Now what? There is no use option, so what do I do with it now. I would just like to see what it puts out. Thanks for the info

Unfortunatly, I believe this loot kit is currently bugged from what I've seen and experienced (I can't get mine to work myself...)

Was it a "viewscreen printer" or a "picture printer"? And which type of broken viewscreen did you use?
The "viewscreen printer" requires a grey viewscreen (not the orange, flat ones), and also a "technical reader" (in addition to the blank canvas, paint cartridge, and paint dispenser that the "picture printer" also uses).
I've found this site to be very handy with the loot components:

When you use these or any other comb0-loot items, open the container you are putting the parts into in a new window and drag-drop the items inside. Otherwise, you'll just lose the items you put in...
This way, once the last item needed is dropped in, the window will close and the picture/painting/poster will appear in your inventory.
Again, if you drag-drop to the closed container in your inventory (Viewscreen Printer, Datadisk repair kit or whatever) the counter will go from 0/5 to 1/5 then back to 0/5 and you will not get your item when the last item is dropped in.
Hope that helps
