- Male/Female Long hair, the art team does a great job making it float about 10" off of the person's back
- Dusters/Robes: these suck at the feet look at the way the feet glitch through them, obviously no wind is in game.
The capes would look terrible under the current system, they'd have to implement wind (banners do this) wind that matches w/ the direction your character is facing, you can't have the cape peiricing your body can you? Also remember rain and dust storms on tat/lok need to match this.
All in all, takes too much work, likely won't see a cape for a long time if ever. Work > Devs : Devs (del) cape category.

nah capes suck, unless i can wear it w/ armor, then its completey different. Not to mention the capes would look HORRIBLE w/ the current "physics" of the game.

Eh, they'd only need to use the "banner system", so to speak, for the capes. In low wind, banners flap gently (which could be whena character is just standing there). Then in a high wind, the banners flap about harshly (which could be when a character is running or in a vehicle/mount). None too complicated. ![]()
If the Devs wanted to get fancy, they could make the capesflap in storms too (which probably wouldn't be too hard), but it's not needed. Just the character action.
Still, I'd be happy if capes where riggid and hung down the back, not moving at all. I just want capes...
