Thread: Problem making posters from loot items

Hi, I've been having trouble making posters from the items looted from swoop leaders. I have made a few work in the past couple of weeks but now that I have more of the loot I can't get it to work. I can load the paint, the dispersal unit, the view screen, and the canvas into the printer but I can't get the broken data pads or broken hand-held view screens to drop in and combine. It shows the mouse icon that i can drop them in but it doesn't take.
Am I using the wrong data pads or view screens (if so how do I tell them apart, they look the same as ones i've used before) or has this become bugged in the past couple of weeks or so. Anyone else had this problem.

there are two types of broken datapads...one looks like a gameboy (silver) and then the normal tan color'd one. If ones not working try the other. The kit that looks like a ship blueprint uses the tan ones and the one that looks like a muon container uses the silver one

Thanks, do you know who drops the silver ones i'll bet thats one I need.

i got mine from random npcs.....cant remember which ones I'm sure somebody can say which ones drop it. I had the same problem you guys are having

I had a similar problem with the datadisk repair kit. Had all the correct items, but the corrupt disk would not go in. Finally destroyed it and bought another one which worked fine. Maybe some items are bugged (nah that would never happen.)

once they areassembled the disapear and you get a random painting for decoration
