I'm thinking not because those defenses are no longer a part of the profession trees.

Its not for sure if they do anything. I see jedi all the time bidding on pre curb tapes that are high with these stats trying to put togehter suits or wait till a new patch comes out making these stats more important in combat. Dodge might be a different part of combat because i use high ca's in my clothes and capped acc jedi do miss a lot when dueling me. In any case if you see some with high stats i say buy them and keep them

Def vs KD still works against Force KD but not sure about other types of KD this is a bug...and not much ppl are aware of this situation so....it wont be fixed anytime soon sure...
