I looted a couple saber crystals last night, and went to the trade forum to try to get an idea as to what they are worth, but kept seeing the term quality crystals and I am not sure what this means. Is there a specific color that is the going rage now, or is it based solely on the condition of the crystals? The 2 crystals I have both appear to be white in color, with conditions over 1k. Would these be included in the "quality" crystal category? thanks for any and all information.

You need to have a jedi examine them to determine the quality of the crystal (poor, fair, quality, etc).

Crystals and Krayt Pearls have a hidden attribute that only jedi can see. That is the "quality" of the crystal or pearls, and the better the quality, the better the chances for a great tune - higher damage / lower force cost. So you need to get a jedi to look at it (you do not need to trade it to the jedi, just put in the trade window or drop in your house) and tell you the quality. Never sell to the jedi telling you the quality, or get a second jedi to look at it first - otherwise you could lose some money because the jedi could tell you a lower quality than the crystal actually has and get a great crystal for a cheap price.
There is a guide to pearl and crystal selling somewhere in the game guides forum, but I dont have the link handy currently.
