So I'm coming back to SWG after a long while, recently decided to give EQ2 a little rest since some things rubbed me the wrong way.

Anyway, I guess I can now claim a new mount for the latest expansion i digitally downloaded. Also I guess I have a whole slew of veteran rewards I can claim??

Well anyway what I wanted to ask is how I could keep as much as possible if I wanted to restart my character.

My brother and cousin are joining me this time around and so I think what i'm guessing I can do is claim all my veteran rewards.. then give my bro all my credits and pets and claimed veteran rewards and such. Then switch my old rifleman/CH human... delete him.. and start over as a Wookie Creature handler for the +10 bonus to creature taming.. then get all my stuff back from my bro at that point.. what do you guys think?

Or is it possible to actually leave all my vet rewards and new ROTW unclaimed and it will let me claim them somehow when I create a new character??

Please let me know guys.. I want to start over again as a Wookie Creature Handler, but i'm worried I'll lose all my veteran rewards..

Any and all help is greatly appreciated!!

Thank You!!

Oh .. also.. can anybody tell me or point me to where I can find out what the vet rewards are and which are probably the best choices to make??

Are they even tradeable?? So I can actually put my plan into action and just give em all to my bro and he can give them back to me??

Or can i just delete my character and claim all my vet rewards still with my new character??

Also, if I can't trade my bro all my vet rewards, and I can't claim them if I delete my character and start a new one... then how good of a creature handler can I be if i'm a human and don't have the 10+ creature taming bonus?? Can I use /respec to change from a rifleman to a creature handler??

So many changes.. so many questions.. please help!!

LOL... I feel so lost right now.

Hi,

I am not certain that you will lose your vet rewards if you delete a character. I do know the rewards are for one account, one character only. I have not traded my rewards so I cannot tell you whether or not they are tradable but I think they are since people have been selling the ADK(antidecay kits) for 10's of millions of credits!!! And I do know that you can respec your current human character into whatever you want provided your human has elite skills to trade for other elite skills. I have a Master CH human and it's no problem taming anything as long as you get BE clothing. However be warned that Ch has been nerfed again and pets have no more specials. The have simply become tanks, shells, cute but hardly what they used to be.

Anyway, I hope this helps. BTW, this is an entirely NEW game. Nobody is uber and everything has slowed way down, combat is what it's all about and grouping is FORCED. Be prepared to group with lots of noobs and be warned that you will be a noob again with the new level-based system. Lok is the new hot spot for groups. Be prepared to wait around for long periods trying to get group....then having group members drop....groups just jumping in killing everything that moves...no organization....chaos...depending upon play style of group. It's no where near the fun of the old SWG. It's more geared to the 13 year old mentality.

yep, the big ones are the 30k resource, anti-decay kit and the self powered, you can only claim them once on a specific server. the others are cool and you can display or sell as well.

yep, should work, they are all tradable.

Unsure, I do belive it is based on account not character. A test would to be create a character o a server and see if it would allow you to claim anything (of course do not)

Please let me know guys.. I want to start over again as a Wookie Creature Handler, but i'm worried I'll lose all my veteran rewards..

Lets find the Link Hrrmm.

yep, alot of people have sold the ADK and 30k resource

Again Unsure, I believe it is account based not character based.

the +10 Creature taming is good but not required, you might want to head over to the CH forum, They are somewhat unhappy with the changes.

So many changes.. so many questions.. please help!!

1. Unless you specifically want to be a Wookie, you are about to make yourself through a tremendous grind, you may want to rethink that decision. A better idea would be to /respec your current toon, to a profession you'd like get an IDand enjoy the new content, there is a lot since a year ago. Carbineer/CH may be a nice combo for you.

2.To claim all your rewards use the command /claim. The anti-decay kit, the self powered harvester and the crate of resources are considered by many to be the best choices of rewards.

Sorry, Veteran rewards are based on character, not account. Delete your guy, before you claimyour out of luck.

Its a1 use claim on account on any server, best to claim the rewards on your server then trade to your brother/friends .You can test it on another server by creating a toon .

ONLY get the claim vet window option and DO NOT CLAIM any

delete toon and create another to see if the options appear

commands are /claimvet to get the items

/getvet is to check how old the account is

ADK and 30k resource deed from 1 yr and 180 day is a must

hmm ¿
