Questiooooooooonnnnnnnn. Is the Varactyl available only if you download ROTW, or will it also come with it if you buy the boxed version?

Only the download. Altough, rumor has it that there is a quest for the Varactyl. True? who knows?

There's a CH quest where they can get an egg that'll turn into a mount or pet, I'm not sure which.
Thanks for the info. 
I have a gift card for WalMart and would use it instead to get ROTW if it came with the varactyl. Downloading it is.

I believe the egg will turn in to the mount, but it's CH level, isn't it? I'm not sure.

I think so. By the way, if that "Obi Wan car shopping" is the one I think it is, it's frelling funny.

there is a quest ..for mch's only ..you loot an egg that hatches a baby lvl 65 varactyl....you kill "jagged fang" to loot the nest..very easy..but you have to be an mch to get the quest

Varactyl = download only, BARC = all-in-one retail pack only.
I am hoping to find someone willing to trade me their BARC for my Vatactyl when the retal box hits the stores... but who knows.

actually the word on the street is that there will be a quest for the BARC so anyone can get one.

download one is for all non ch and ch also
but the quest one is for ch 
once fully grown
