I was thinking about the ton of SEA's I have from both before and after the CU when this came to mind. Have you ever looted a SEA that had 2or mods on them? Ever have 2 totally different uses? Food exp +7, rifle speed +10?Ever have a tape with a broken mod you wish you could erase? Grenade exp +25, Musical mind enhance +20, Melee defense +25?
Imagine a loot kit (like the rug kits and so forth) that allowed you to turn any multi modded attachment into 2-3 seperate ones. There could be 2 kits. One for CA's and one for AA's.
Now the question is how rare or common would they be? What kind of mobs would you have them drop from?
IMHO if you make them too rare they will sell for extreme amounts of credits in auctions on top of all the uber SEA's that would then be split and sold for even more credits. If you make them fairly common, prices will be relatively cheap. Split SEA's would still fetch a decent credit but at the same time the market would be flooded with them.
SO. What do you think? Personally speaking I'd hunt day and night to get my hands on something like this.

Not a good idea. CAs and AAs have the junk mods on them to make it so they're not super duper uber. Let's say you loot +25 Ranged Accuracy, +10 wound healing, +3 Grenade Exp or whatever on one CA. The most clothing has is four sockets. So to use your uber CA you need to sacrifice 3 sockets all together. This makes it so you can't just have +25 Ranged Acc, +25 Ranged speed, +25 Ranged Def, +25 Carbine Speed all on one piece of clothing. It's balancing for the ultra-high level CA/AA loot. A loot kit that could split the CAs would only make it that much easier to become fantastically awesome.
