well i asked my girl to be my ingame wife and she said yes, but when i went to give her the ring i could not trade it to her (i knew this would happen) then she asked me what was going on and i explained to her the only way i could give it to her was if i choose unity on the ring. i went to choose unity and to my surprise its not on there 
I am giving her this ring cuz i feel its perfect for her snice she loves to be with me but as a master dancer she doesnt last long in the wild. i keeplettting her get killed, yeah i know im a horrible bodyguard and boyfriend 
but i feel this ring is perfect for her so if she does happen to die while with me she wont have to clone. i know this is considered an exploit to be traded but god darn it i want her to have this ring as a gift from me to her out of love. I dont want her to do the hero of Tat quest cuz then she is just earning the ring and thus not a true gift. (would you make your wife to be work for her ring?)

Yeah, go run her through all the Hero of Tatooine quests
I'm almost positive there's no way to give it to another person, I tried dropping mine in a friends house to show them and it wouldn't let me do that, and I know it can't be traded.
Looks like your best bet would be to take her out across Tatooine and get her one of her own.

are you wearing it at the time ? maybe she needs to be the one to offer unity...i thought it was on the toons radial, not the rings ??

unless it has been changed this worked
keep the ring in your inventory
have our wife to be have another ring her inventory
she can then propose unity to you and the rings should exchange

Yes, the key is the person who DOES NOT have the ring must be the one to propose unity.

My rl husband and I both have the hero ring. We were going to marry ingame, he had bought another ring, I had not. When I accepted, I got his band and he got my hero ring. So he had two of them. We contacted a CSR and he sorted it out and I got my ring back.We'retoo wary to try it again, too much of ahassle.So on our bios we just say we're married to each other.

Have her be the one to propose unity and just select the hero ring as the one do give her. friend of mine in-game gave me his ring through his droid a long time ago when he quit and later came back after they fixed that one...we had to get married for him to get his ring back >_<
