We were chatting in teamspeak and had a couple of entertainers with us and we got to talking about the Combat Upgrade and armor. A comment was made that some entertainers like to wear armor simply for the looks.
So.. Suggestion...
Would it be possible for an armorsmith to check a box to make the piece of armor a "Decorative piece"? It seems that all that would have to happen is keep the durability and zero out all the other stats? And then remove the Certification requirements.
Voila, you have a suit of armor that has just become a regular piece of clothing.
Thoughts?

Sounds like a good idea, but having such no-stat decorative armor for rare things like Mandolorian and RIS would sort of devalue those items in a manner of speaking. I think the best solution for entertainers' perspective is to craft armor for encumbrance (although it probably won't be zero encumb).

The problem with that is Entertainers will not be certed for armor.

How about unencumbered, non-resist loot armor? Make it more like a piece of clothing, offering no protection or resists.
