I went to check out the latest rental items last night - some very neat ones like a Jawa Sandcrawler are now on the list. There were quite a few I wanted to check out (because I didn't know what they looked like) and so I went about buying them up. However went I got to the sixth one I wanted to buy...err rent, it told me I was at the limit for rental items. Huh??
Fine. Off I went to place the items in a huff to take a look at them - as I said before they are pretty cool. So kudos to the Devs on this. As I was admiring them I thought I'd try to pick up some more of these things (can't hurt to try right?). Sure enough I was able to pick up another five items now that I had placed the original ones.
Why have a 5 item cap on the number of perk items you can carry?? For someone who wants to spend a fortune setting up a large event area with many items this is a HUGE pain in the .... inventory. Either remove the cap or set it higher, say like 30 items or something.
This is a really a stupid time sink that needn't be there. I mean who wants to travel back and forth, back and forth, back and forth between their event site and the nearest Hotel to pick up the items they need for an event. Especially since the time on the items start when they are BOUGHT not placed... (GAH! How dumb is that too?)

So, when you rent a video/DVD/game , the timer starts when you put the video/DVD/game in your player/console?

Point taken!
On a flip side - how many rental places require you to return items in 8 hours?

Except when you rent a DVD or game, someone else may want it. There's an unlimited number of broken AT-ATs to rent.
