There are alot of post on this.... DPS means..Wait for it....NOTHING.. its crap what maters is the Max dam of the weapon and the SAC. I have a laser rifle with 1160 max dam(thats about 355dps) and a t-21 with 1120. Those are some of the best ive seen outside of the 10million credit and up rifles. you also want low sac around 100-110 for a rifle if you can. But you are sacrafising damage or speed for a lower sac.

I'd like to see your precious DPS save you when you run out of action.

I will take high max damage with a side-order of low SAC plzkthx.

Now, DPH, that is what I usually monitor (damage per hit).

Min Damage is a consideration, albeit not that great. With accuracy and defence in play, having a large range isn't ideal. That extra accuracy to hit in the top section of your damage makes a difference, although mainly in PvP.

For me,

Max Damage >= SAC > Min Damage

I agree. I've got a T21 that's just above 1000 max damage by 20 or 30 points with a SAC of 95.. its modified dps is only like 499 or something but i'd rather have the lower SAC and higher damage than speed.
