Giants dont drop as much as regular canyon a juvi pairs. I get a pearl and nice tissues every 3 canyons. But I get jack squat off giants. I've killed about 30 this week and didnt get one pearl so I just skip them.

I hunt mainly Giant Canyon Krayts (not at the Krayt Graveyard POI) because I fight them solo and the POI is usually camped. In the last week or so I picked up 15 peals, TONS of smuggler components, a bunch of tissues,somesegments,somescales, and a SEA (that looks like a red crystal lol). Only one in 6 or 7 Krayts didn't drop something. Then starting last night the drops went dry. Took 7 Krayts until I got a drop (which was a worthless armor segment). This morning I logged in a killed 4 or5 more with notta. I sent in a /bug and next Krayt I got a pearl. I killed about 4 more and picked up 1 tissue. So out of 15+ Krayts I only saw 3 Krayts drop.... Can you imagine how groups of people would feel having to share 3 drops? Especially when pickets/bols give the same or better XP...

nah solo hunting worth**** and now why: regeneration. You kill krayt much more faster with a team mate, more than 2x faster because the regen is not equivalent to the fire power you get.... so you can chain them much more faster. after over 800krayts since the cu trust me I know what I say..... ok it is frustrating to split.... but do it with good friends you'll see it's less. Try to find yourself a mele guy to break armor you take agro with your gun and evrybody is happy.... now spawn rate.... just wait for days worthing it. Some days you must look around when you run just to be sure to not run in one of the 5 spawns surounding you.... other days? hunt somthing else...

Sure, you can kill them faster with more people hitting it, but that's pretty obvious.

Will you kill more krayts overall? maybe, maybe not, but you definitly won't kill 2x the krayts.

Unless you're on a deserted server and there's no one hunting them but you, otherwise consistantly finding spawns is quite tough.
