ROTW quests are likely to destabilize the weapons industry across the servers. The quests seem to pay out a high number of high spec weapons of a quality that crafters strive for.
Lord knows I am not a crafter, but as much I begrudge paying through the nose for good weapons I can't help thinking that flooding the game with hi-spec uncraftable weapons is a going to undermine the crafting community even further and ultimately the game.
As soon as possible the Kash rewards need to switch to schematics and components such as barrels.. Since most of the rewards are clone era technology this is entirely explanable. The Crafters will get new much more new stuff to play with and we get crafted weapons at a price of course, but imagine the stuff a 12pt smith could make.
As a side not I remember pre-cu there was talk of a major crafter revamp taking place is that still on the cards?

in all honesty, the kash weapons suck. The swords and rifles dont go over 1.1kdmg, the carbines dont go over 1kdmg and the pistols dont go anywhere neer 950 dmg. Not to mention there areNO low sac weapons (less than 60). The crafting market is hardly destabilized, if anythign its empowered by the fact that any crafter with good resources can make far superior weapons even without enhancers.
