Thread: what is dropping holocrons? see tons for sale but would rather get my own.

have been unable to find anything that drops holocrons. i bought some and the guy that i purchased them from told me he wouldnt tell my what he looted them from. oh well, any help is appriciated

stormies drop them, FCH do too...I'd say FCH is the best bet if you're lookin to loot a holo, they're low level, POIed, not camped, and no ranged attack, and you might pick up a few good crystals too

I think he means Force Crystal Hunters. There is a POI on Dant.

well FCH dont drop anything but credits, or have only done so for me in the past hour. I hope the afk campers havent ruined loot for the rest of us.

I raided the FCHs a little while ago. Looted all the bodies. Got some credits in loot, a food I've never seen before, and one red lightsaber crystal.

Force Sensitive Renegades, Force Senesitive Crypt Crawlers...
Anything with 'Force' in the name will generally have the ability to drop a holocron.
After 3 hours of solid hunting last night between myself and one other person, we looted up to 14 holocrons each of both the Sith and Blue variety. We're guessing that the drop rate is about 1/20 as we killed close to 400 of these freaks in those 3 hours.

The easiest would be Darktroopers or Rebel Squad Leaders.
The Force Hunters and their cave have been nerfed/broken since the later part of the holo grinding days.
It used to be a popular place where it would be common to see imperials and their AT-STs (up to 3 out per person in the earlier days) all fighting each other for holo's for quest for Jedi. However the devs beat it silly with their bat, and it hasn't been the same since.

just a headsup:
damage crystals still drop in this cave tho, got one just yesterday...havent had it ID'd yet tho, so i dont know the quality of it

I got one from a lvl 134 Dark Force Adept on dantoine the other day.
