i just got back into the game about 3 days ago and i asked all around where to get prem crystals or pearls since my saber is a little lacking post CU.

people say you run missions from some NPC from the imp prison

i was told to talk to the warden guy

i go there and run all the missions for him and i dont get a mission for the djm or whatever. i however see level 113 jedi masters around in the area so i kill those and get a quality crystal.

now we all know quality are worthless for tuning -9 and having high damage so whats up with all this

where can i get prem pearls or crystals.?

is the spawn of high level knights broken or is the mission fixed or is it an exploit?

lastly what is the NPC im supposed to talk to in order to get that mission?

Nothing is droppin them right now. The DJK/DJM were nerfed with the last hotfix. The DJK drop 'good' crystals and the DJM now drop 'quality' crystals.

so they scaled the levels back and the challenge ratings of the jedi so they would drop worse stuff

you are correct, currently there is nothing in game dropping over the rateing of 'quality'.

gl to all the new paddys out there who have crap sabers =]... least frs for us vets will be a cake walk with my 750 dps non mls saber.

That is the sad truth too. If the FRS were to go into play right now without a premium/flawless pearl drop fix, any players that weren't lucky enough to get prem/flawless before CU would be screwed. Auctions are extremely rare, and expensive now, so even if you did blow a ton of credits on one or two of the few left, you have to hope to get lucky for it to tune to something good enough to compete with the 110-120 dmg pearls that the pre-cu Jedi hoarded cheaply with nightly krayt hunts.

Really not very fair, and I amrepulsed that they have not yet fixed the drops.
