We have never looted a CA or AA up there. Either really bad luck or they just don't drop up there.
You do loot occasional weapons. They are never uber but you can sell them for 30K or so (what mine go for on my vendor). The better loot is actually from the lootboxes which are only accessed via the first mission you can run up on the Avatar (sub-quest for Dr. Price's mission). 3 pistols and 1 trando schematic from the lootboxes. 1 pistol the Kashykk Stalker Pistol is actualy very nice...looks like a mini-bowcaster and is kinetic/acid. Shoots a nice neon green bolt also. I am rifleman/carbineer and even with no pistol skills I get a 845 MDPS on this pistol when equipped (sliced and pupped obviously). Those 3 pistols looted from the boxes can bring 1 to 1.5 million each....but you can only loot them one time.

roomerd to be able to but i only know of them dropping from the trando boss mob that you kill to compleat secret of the syren part 3
even if they do drop here its the same drop rate or rarer than the avatar

Early on the drop rate the mansion was pretty good. 3 of us in my group ran it back to back to back...with 2 of the 3 of us getting a looted barrel. These were the first ones we had looted.
I have heard they toned that drop at the mansion down a bit....but can't confirm that. It's still a great place to shoot some Avatar guards without all the hassles of getting up to the Avatar.
