Lots of people are always after info on where to loot stuff, what it looks like etc. So i thought id throw this together and update it everytime we get new stuff.

I looted a crystal with +25 Weapon Experimentation, will it work if i put it in a lightsaber or whatever?
Sadly no, the mods on crystals wont stick. SOE CSR policy is to not convert them to clothing attachments but some kind CSR -might- although dont hold your breath

What types of crystal is there?
there are two categories of crystal - damage (white or "clear") and just pwetty colours
Clear Crystals in order of quality:
Poor
Fair
Good
Quality
Select
Premium
Flawless
- Note that Krayt Dargons also drop "Pearls" which can be used in a LS also -
I just see volume and condition on the examine how do i know if they are Premium or whatever?
The only class that can see the quality is Jedi. Make friends with a Jedi so you dont get ripped off when you want to get some checked

What drops Premiums, they sell for loads!!?

Ive heard of a thing called the Eyes of Mersa, a SWG 8-ball, where do i get it?
This used to be from loose debris in a gungan ruins but is now looted off the various NPC's in "The Warren", along with the Palm Frond

I looted a "Ancient Lightsaber" on Dathomir, is it any use?
Purely decoration, if you examine it it says its broken

Where can i loot (legendary) and (exceptional) items?
Nightsisters on Dathomir, Krayt Dragons on Tatooine and Kimogilas on Lok, Janta on Dantooine

I am a novice scout and I have an enormous compliment of Bats, Butterflies, Bees, Mothes, Glowees, etc. What is this stuff used for?
Artisans can use "a sample of living XXX" to make a Creature Habitat which "you can release whatever's inside...so if theres bees...you release em, you get Bees buzzing around and butterflies, For some of the more good stuff, like Butterflies and such...they're great for Weddings or Parties when done en masse." Endor/ROTJ Helmet...what the hell is it and where can i get it from?
It is an old loot that got removed, dont ask why, we dont know. Some are still kicking around on trade forums for a fair bit of cash, an image of it can be seen here

but one question, What is a Creature Habitat exactly?is it just decoration? when i used to be artisan i made one didnt know what it was so just deleted it
