Thread: Why can't I loot?

I was recently at the tusken fort and went in solo. I killed 20-30 tuskens and was rather upest that I could not loot a one!!! Every time I would try to loot a tusken corpse I would recive the message "you do not have permission to loot this corpse"
After checking all around me on map and radar to verify that I was indeed alone I was perplexed. I asked CSR_PrestonB and recived no answer about this.

I think its a bug, sometimes happens when you kill krayts, just keep trying to loot them, and you should be able to, otherwise i would file a /bug report

I've had this happen to me a number of times, though it seems to mostly happen when I have a Commando weapon and apply a DOT to the enemy. Though I've had it happen a few times without DOTs...

Someone tried to explain to me IG that you can't loot some Krayts that were attacked & heavily damaged by other players who might of died before killing it, then it regens it's health, I come by later, attack & kill it & I get get the "no looting" message. I don't believe him tho, pretty sure some SOE rep is trying to stop me from being a loot hoer! I needto take missionsto kill CSR's until all the bugs IG are fixed.

Exactly it is and btw "Retreat" problem too. Mobs keep amount of damage dealt by others players dying on him for example. So you dont have permission to loot. Alot of CL111 or DJK/DJM you can find around prison are bugg like that.

If only 1 thing ever gets fixed, it has to be "RETREAT!", gawd that is the worse thing ever in game. It doesn't really get easier after cause 7 times out of 10 you won't be able to single pull the mob anymore. It's bad enough trying to solo high CL mobs, but when 2 & 3 come for you it's almost even stupid to run, cause between their "Mob force runs" & "Mob ranged attacks with out using a ranged weapon", you are teh deadest. This is the kinda thing that has me cussing out loud at my computer, man o man.
