I dont consider myself a troll but i do enjoy reading threads for information and such and sometimes i feel compelled to respond to what i'm reading. I've been playing this game avidly since aug 03 and i like to think i have seen it all but this is becoming obscene. I started as a krayt hunter early on when i would use pets to kill those little 50k HAM krayts. I loved it, even watching the cheesy one eye open one eye closed feigned smuggler soloa krayt. I understood why they hit us with the bat the first time, there was definitely something wrong with that. So.. they make them uber HAMS and resists and wewhine but we say ..aight. We start beating on them again so they reduce the spawn which drives the pearl price thru the roof! Then the price of pearls starts screwing with the economywhich leads to an even wider divide between rich and poor. So...they increase the spawn insanely and the price goes down again. So .....we're back to segs and crap tissue with which i have 2 inventories full of to show for it. In my 2 days since returned to krayt hunting i came across at least 7 premium pearls, +84 tissues and a couple sets of 11 varied damage. Since the patch went thru i have like 40 segs and 40 crap base tissues!!
I mean make up your mind! Makea decision and stick with it. If your gonna make it harder leave it! If your gonna make the pearls rarer, then do that! But you gotta decide on something and leave it alone! I know SOE could care less because they already have my over $400 or so for 2 accounts over the last 16-18 months (times that by the # of servers and average population and you'll understand what i mean)but i got one foot out the door! I dont know what this so called CU will bring but like a few others said before me, It better be good, because i'm starting to feel like a puppet. And i don't like when people try to pull my strings. Maybe i felt this way a lot later than others but its starting to surface. I do like the new planet GCW thing and the base thing but if you start messing with everyones pocket I'm gonna have to do like all the really rich cats and start spending real money on 20 mil every couple months. Bah! I dont know what the hell is going on, I do know I dont like it and alot of people.....ALOT of people agree with me! I'm paying you to entertain me not frustrate me further, I got a wife and kids for that. If this reaches anyone shout it out. It wont be the first time i had a post mysteriously erased from the thread.
Decide SOE if you made money or if you want to continue to make money. There a lot of games out there im hearing a lot of good things about and your losing money to them.I dont want to go but like my last relationship you're pushing me out the door. So decide on something and leave it alone!!Thats my 1 cent. Flame if you want.
P.s. Gotta shout out my former brethren the BH. Fix it!

I totaly agree with you. The devs are Bi-Polar as can be. I love it when they are in the manic phase. Krayts everywhere, 80 item inventories, self-deducting maintenance on houses. Then the depression hits, and we get our pets nerfed, loot disapears, dots fade, feign doesn't work and so on. We need to get a psychiatrist over to SOE and quick so the devs can get some mood stabalizing pills. Boy, i can't wait for the PVE Nerf (combat Upgrade). That will be a really fun roller coaster to ride

Loot is horrible. I have spent 2 buffs killing NS & other high lvl mobs and the best thing i got was a lot of 11 hvy duty clasps. This has to be a joke or a huge screw up from the devs. I am about to take a leave from the game until they admit/fix the loot problem.

In my opinion, what this *really* is is a matter of poor version control. Things from old publishes keep reappearing in new publishes, even after the fixes have been applied. This leads to the fixes having to be reapplied.
I think that each developer may be working with a slightly different version of the code, and that this code mismatch is responsible for some of the old bugs being restored and having to be repatched.
