What use is any of that junk to the average combat-type player? None. It just gets deleted. It's about as useful as locked container loot.

Horn? As in like animal horns? I've never seen looted horn before.. what is that? What is it used in?

It makes sense if you think about it for a moment. Why would a primitive tribal warrior be carrying around a complicated, futuristicdesign schematic? Seems to me the poor guys were gathering supplies for their village until you ruined their parade.
Some hungry families are sitting around waiting for their 1 fruit, 216 insect meat, and 1077 domesticated milk which they'll never get.
Just figured I'd see if I could put you on a littl guilt trip, did it work?

Horn was originally used for Wookie armor and was a rare loot item, till all the hairy beasts cried foul. Not used for anything at the moment that I know of.

Actually I was thinking the same thing that it makes sense for them to drop these kind of things. The spear rack schematic though is the same primative one you see around their villages. I'd glady give their food back for a schematic (make them all starve and die if they don't do my bidding, muahhahaha.)

It also helps give you an idea on the stats found on the resources for the planet.

Horn has actually been in the game since the beginning, I used to loot 1 unit at a time in the Pygmy Torton Cave on rori back in the day. It has never had a purpose, except for that ill-fated attempt at making it a requirement for wookiee armor as this poster had stated. They changed the horn requirement pretty quickly when they realized that the stuff didn't really 'drop' in the game, it was more of an accidental loot item than anything else.

Finally! Now, instead of getting 1 unit of a resource as loot I can expect more...
While those single resources get deleted, stacks will tend to be collected. This is a nice change.
You did loot stacks, right? You didn't save up all the single units?
