This is becoming a MAJOR, and I can not stress that enough, problem on Chimaera. And Im sure people on other servers are also finding the same problem.
People are tricking others allowing them admin access on their mall's to place vendors and then walking off with numerous items. In recent cases, Veteran Award minatures, whole suits of RIS, and millions worth of resources and armour have been stolen.
In the most recent two cases one offender returned the items after he was spotted trying to sell them on the trade forums and was reported, and in the other case another offender stole items which a CSR returned.
But what is happening about the players who commit these offences ???
Are they banned, suspended, or anything done to show them that this behaviour will not be tolerated ?

Something needs to be done. Its despicable behaviour that distresses those stolen from. Either the offenders should be banned or suspended, or something needs to be done about the whole Mall issue.
Mall's currently require all vendor sellers to have Admin on the building. Would it not be better to institute some form of Mall status for Guildhall's similar to the player cities. By this I mean Zones. In a player city you can't place a building unless you have been given zoning rights, and even then your restricted to what you can do. It seems to me that within Guildhall's classified as Mall's the owner can set zones in which vendors on the approved list can place their vendor and place down some items and scenery etc, but they are unable to affect anything outside of their zone.
This proposal would stop thieves from getting admin and clearing out Mall's of valuable items.

Okay first off let me say I do not intend this as a flame and mean no offense in the following post...
What in the heck is the problem here if anyone puts a person that they do not know or trust on the admin for a house tent etc... they fully deservre to get ripped off by that person. Would I"steal"no I would not. But I cannot sit back and feel sorry for anyone the put a person on the admin and then gets upset when said person takes an item from their house tent etc...
I do not mean to be bashing but in Ultima Online there is even a thief profession and yes that char can steal from players.
I feel, and everyone is entitled to their own opinion, that if you do not know someone there is no reason for that person to be on admin wether they want to put up a vendor or not.
Now granted it would be nice and kewl if everyone would show the same respect to others that has been shown to them but I just cant see that happening.

Why cant they make a separate part of admin acees that can arrange for a player to have access ONLY to place and operate a vendor within the structure. That would solve the problem. But right now i agree, just cant trust anyone in this game and if you want to place a vendor why now drop a small house or a vendor tent and advertise on forums, spam cnet sp or something, word can get out fast and people will start checking out a vendor as long as its close to a starport. I have a vender about 1 minute drive max from a starport and i sell something everyday.

It happens all the time, in a lot of MMO's too. I've had really good friends rob me blind, it happens. Greed is a part of human nature, it's sad but it happens. I don't bother anymore, I trust noone. I don't even give admin to even my closest friends becauseof it. I and only I watch over my estate.
