Thread: So there is really no need for the recyclers unless you want grind material?

Well to be honest they are good for say Smugglers, Architects, Tailors where quality dont mater in items made. Other then that, not much use other then to take alot of small things to make in 1 bigger stack

its perfect for shipwright chassis since you arent using the best stuff in them anyways you always end up with small amounts of stuff than you cant even make into a crappy componet so just place all of it in this and you dont have to waste anything i could saved a few mil grinding it out to

Quality doesn't matter for all items. Clothing, architect items (other than crafting stations and harvesters), spice, food components, camps, traps, musical instruments, etc have no experimentation. For those, being able to combine various stacks of different resources gives an inventory reduction without any loss of quality.
