I have looted today some items that go with a "Picture Printer" (a blank canvass and a paint dispersal unit) and it says they go to a picture printer and then you can make a panting from a viewscreen.

First question, where does one get this "Picture Printer"? Is it loot, or something recieved like a loot kit?

Second, what viewscreen are they talking about? Is it the "Broken Hand-Held Viewscreens" that you loot sometimes, or a specific kind?

Picture printers are dropped by Sleemo's on Talus. You need to loot brown broken hand-held viewscreens to assemble the item. You also need a canvas, a paint dispersal unit and a paint cartridge.

All of which are dropped by the above mention characters......looted enough supplies for a Double Helix, Droid in Contrast, and a Bio Painting......But I do have a question, what are the broken gray screens for?

Those are used in Viewscreen printers.

i looted a picture printer off some random npc on tatooine what is it for? what does it do? what is it worth?
