Thread: Armor Hole or Mini Suits?

I have combat logs that show that my armor sometimes doesn't protect me. Did 13.1 bring back the armor hole or do mini suits no longer work? If i could get input on this from people who wear full comp armor and those who wear min suits would be great

dont wear skirts those cause leg holes. and sometimes necklaces cause health holes

I wear a mini suit and altho I grinded the bejeezus out of it im still feelin fine in it (while buffed 
)

I wore a mini suit and was owned FAST and then tried again in full brand new comp armor and it did'nt make any differance. I was fine before the publish. Now it's letting most of the damage through.

Its strange..., I heard a rumour that currently that is a armor hole..., I can't confirm it though.., it has been said for more then one person...
Funny thing is.. in the same night I heard this.., I went to hunt some SMC's, beeing master rifles, most don't give me much problems..., that is.., until I encountered my first SMC Arch Witch that night..., first blow she gaved hitted me for 2510 damage, and my armor protected ZERO , needless to say this almost killed me.., and the fact is.., I was so stunned by the damage made and the armor not funcioning that the Arch Witch with the help of a SMC Guardian toke the rest out of me in an instant.

I use mini suits all the time and damage absolutely never gets through for me with ONE exception. Shortly after JTL came out I had a couple of days where I was just dumbfounded by how many times I was getting killed by mobs I should have been able to take easily. After a lot of frustration and some testing I found the problem. Even though the imp flight suit looks great with a black mini suit I had to let it go. Wearing a body suit under your armor causes "holes." I repeated it myself several times to be sure and even had it confirmed by somebody on a different server. Drop the body suit and you'll be ok.
I'd also consider the skirt comment somebody made because of my experiences. Not necklaces though. I wear a plated necklace all the time and there's no hole.

I noticed this too. I used to wear BE'd flightsuits under my armor and I was getting the crap beat out of me. Now I just wear a shirt and pants and I'm fine. I also wear a necklace. I'll have to take it off and see if anything changes.

The flightsuits,tac skin suits, well any bodysuit really causes the hole. It makes me sad cause the Imp flight suit does look cool with the 4 piece armor on, not worth dying over though. 
Necklaces have never caused me any issues though and I always have one on.

with force sensitive npcs like nightsisters and singing mountain clan, they can do lightsaber specials on occasion which will completely bypass armor. it's a bug.
and i am almost positive that was a lightsaber special that owned the rifleman, lightsaber specials are the only ones with damage modifiers high enough to do 2500 damage.
