those are rewarded only once i believe. the vet rewards go like this 3 month, 6 month, 1 year, 2 years. So every time you hit that milestone you get a new option. its not like every 3 months you get something new i dont believe

yeah you can but you claim earlier rewards in place of your later rewards i.e. Claiming a 3 month when you're at 6 month or 6 month at 1 year, etc.
But you dont get a new reward every 3 months or nothing like that by the date of your registration you've already claimed your 3,6 and 1 year rewards haven't you? So you'd be eligible for another reward at the 2 year mark.

the devs stated that every 6 months you could choose another reward after the 1 year reward, every 6 months (since vet rewards were put in) you could recieve another reward from any of the previous ones. thats why some items said 1 per lifetime or whatever. at least i'm pretty sure thats what the devs said, but even if they did say it that doesn't mean it actually works that way. just like everything else in this game

I think the whole thing about only 1 per account is silly. I took my rewards on Bria, as it was the first place I logged when they put them into the game. Didn't take my Anti Decay because I know I wasn't a fighter on that server and I was going to take it on Shadowfire, then I find out I already took the rewards on Bria so I can't get any on my other characters.

There are the various reward "milestones" that allow you to choose an item after your account has been active for that period of time. Those milestones are 3 months, 6 months, 12 months, and then every 12 months after that. Each level has a certain set of items specific to it, or you can choose an item from any earlier set (with the exception of any "once per account" items that have already been claimed).
So at 3 months you can choose an R2 mini, at 6 months a self-powered harvester kit (from the 3 month reward set), at 12 months you can choose anything from the list (even another R2 mini) except for the self-powered harvester kit.
So it's not "every 3 months you can pick something from the 3 month list", 3 months is just the first point where you can choose a reward.

hmmm does that mean we would be another month away from another reward if we are closing on the 2 year marker? or is it based on when they started giving vet rewards?

The milestones are based on your account activation date, not the age of the game or the start of the veteren reward system. If you joined at launch, then yes you'll be able to claim a 24 month reward at the end of June. If you joined 09-10-2003 (going off of your forum registration date, which can be different), you'd get your 24 month reward on 09-10-2005.
