Thread: Grievous Striker WTH?!

Okay so me and a couple others take down the Necrosis today and we looted the Grievous Striker and I got it. I'm currently a MBH & Master Carbineer / Novice Rifleman but I'm converting to Master Rifleman / Novice Carbineer.
The gun looks like pistol. Gives +10 to carbine accuracy. Gives a NICE +10 to melee defense. Is described in the lore as a "wicked carbine" but is CERTED MASTER RIFLEMAN?!
It's a really sweet gun and I might stick with carbineer if I could use it. If I continue to go for rifleman I don't know how good it would be seeing as the carbine mod.
Is this something the Devs are gonna fix? Is it a carbine or a rifle?

But the thing is WAY to small to be a rifle. It's like a large pistol / small carbine. I have a feeling it was certed wrong. The + Carbine Mod and description as a carbine make me think that.

Yes it is the gun the droids used. I think it was also the gun Obi-Wan used to kill Grievous or was it the Death Hammer Pistol? Can't remember...

Why dont they just fix it by certing it as just a level like 54.

Yep, this weapon has a pretty goofy cert. It seems like it should be in Master Carbineer, especially since it would be nice for the Carbineers to have access to the E5 (Master Squadleader Weapon).
When I was a Carbineer, I picked up a Strike Assault Lance that was certed Novice Carbineer.
It equipped and worked without any polearm skills! They were able to retroactively fix the cert on that to Novice Pikeman, so I could see something like this happening here.

Just to Clarify This pistol is the Pistol used to Killed Grevious by Obi-wan. But it is not used by Battle Droids, They use a Larger Carbine. I say Pistol because that is what it is called in the Visual Dictionary.
