I've looked and searched and the search only showed me items on the trade forums. Anyone know where these mystery components come from? lol

You can get the blue rug adhesive as a quest reward. To start the quest, talk to the protocol droid outside of one of the guild halls in Moenia, Naboo. The quest is quick and easy.

As far as i know they dont drop anymore.
I however have some that a may part with if the price is right.

they drop of meat lumps....fed dubs...stormies...rouge corsecs...etc...and yes they still drop

I believe you can farm that spawn of NPCs outside the Mos Eisley SP, at least pre-cu they commonly dropped loot kit parts.
