How many units do you get for completing act III,I got the dead eye thing but I have no flora.

Takes 1 of it to create it.

Also since it is a chemical componet, what determines what gets expermation points for it?

You get flora when you raid the convoy fort. Before blowing the place up, check the fort for canisters that can be opened. I found 3 in one. I believe you can do these missions over and over again.

I'm sure this has been asked before, but the search feature is useless right now and only turns up posts from too long ago to be relevant. Is there still a way to begin the quest for the Alderaan flora, and if so, where would either a rebel or an imperial go to begin? Does anyone have a wp for the start of the quest? Or is it not even accessible anymore?

I actually have some flora from that long time ago.. it seems to be borked at the moment. But when I put in a ticket asking them if I could still make thedead-eye thing they say they would be "fixing it" put in a ticket in-game and see what they tell you

Oh no, I'm not trying to craft it, I'm just trying to find out where to take the quest to get the flora so that I can use it as decoration. I was told that the quest was still do-able despite the prototypes not being craftable, but I'm at a loss as to where to start it.

If you are imp go to bestine tatooine talk to imperial npcs around the capital building. You eventually do numerous missions and at the end you are able to keep re-doing the missions to collect alderaan flora. On Ahazi the flora went from 500k on average to what it is now at 100k. Someday the flora will be taken out, just don't know when.
