KYD 21 Pistol
Combat Level Require 54
Skill Requirement Master Pistoleer
A compact pistol with good stopping power considering its small size. It's expensive but favored by successful BOUNTY HUNTERS and assassins for its sublety
Ok I can understand the combat level requirement, but what I don't understand is that it was given to you by Boba Fett who is a BH himself, and in the little description it even says it's favored by bounty hunters, so why not let the skill requirement be Master BH instead of Master Pistoleer. Was it bugged when it was put in the game, they accidently put it for Pistoleers instead of Bounty Hunters?? Devs please elaborate on this why is it a Master Pistoleer weapon when it's plainly given to you by a BH and it even says it's favored by successful BHs.

Simple answer: the description is wrong. It is the type of pistol Zam Wesell used, so, if you think she was a "sucessful bounty hunter", well, you apparently didnt see ep II...

LOL, how laughable toeven suggest Jango Fett wasnt a Master Pistoleer in addition toMBH.Pistols were not only his primary weapon, buthe wieldedthem more skillfully than anyone else we've seen out of all the star wars movies.

Yes I did see ep 2, and I don't think it was just used by Zam, many other successful bounty hunters could've used it. I'm just saying since they say it was used by bounty hunters why not let them carry it ingame without having to be master pistoleer. All I can find is that both Boba and Jango Fett were proficient marksman and unarmed combatant. Not Masters, so this means neither Boba nor Jango Fett were Masters of any profession except for Bounty Hunter.

WhatI mean is I dont see in what a Master Pistoleer certif is dumber than a BH certif...
Actually, i dont even understand why weapons have certifs like that. In what a KYD21 is harder to use than a CDEF pistol ? It got a simple trigger, like any pistol. Same for the Scatter. I really DOUBT a pistoleer couldnt understand how to use a scatter... (actually, I even doubt an artisan couldnt understand how to use any weapon... they would just handle then badly, that's all.

Well Han used Lukes saber to cut open that creature on Hoth. So i guess smugglers should be certed for lightsabers.

That's exactly what i mean ! If we had to stick to the films or reality, there shouldnt be any certif at all. But it's a game, so each prof has his own weapons only them can use. Here, Pistoleers have the KYD-21, BH have their Proton Carbine, etc etc...

This arguement is kinda like the Republic Commando Clone Armor........which is cert'd as Battla Armor.....go figure...

This isn't suppose to be an argument, I just want to know if the devs are going to fix the kyd21 pistol so it can be used by bhs since it was given to you by a bh and it says it is used by successful bounty hunters
