Thread: 2 year vet rewards!

For all those 2 year vets, sony decided to giveus all a trip down memory lane... Those of us who try to play today will sit and wait while the servers are worked on. During this timethey will give no eta on server up time or date.
There will be various rumours circulated during the down time including the good ol' favourites like "there is a roll back" and "they wiped the characters again".
Yes you too can experiance the frustration of waiting for the servers to be fixed just like we did in Beta !

It made me think while i was sitting reading the forums and the launch pad chat, back to the days when i sat there waiting for the servers to be brought up again so we could test.
I think i deserve that underground bunker or free padawan slot after all that loyalty 
Um, NO. It wouldnt "ruin" the jedi expierence.... your just saying that bcsu dont want it implimented. U only played 6 months, so dont criticise us vets. I stopped FS grinding bcs this whole system makes it not worth the time. Id like an instant unlock, 2 years playing with all the bugs... its fair compensation. PLus all the down times we have had over the years. Anyway, 6 months is hardly enough to criticise a vet... so shut up please. Nothing ruin's the "jedi" expierence, jedi is nothing like its supposed to be so therefore ruins itself. But id still like an instant unlock, just to say i have a jedi.

Comin up on that two years... and I see support for this.. but my opinion is this....
Forget Jedi, Force Sensitive, all of that. Just a second character slot with absolutely no strings attached. That means no free FS lines, no free Jedi, no free anything. Just a simple character slot on my main toons server.
I don't want a lightsaber. I don't want to be Jedi. I just want to have a second character that I can use for homes, storage, crafting, etc...
I know SOE would never even consider this option. I wish they would, but lets be realistic. It won't happen becuase they rather have me either....
A. Grinding constantly for some other pointless skills I don't want/need
B. Go out and buy the new super duper all in one pack and start a second account.
Honestly I refuse to do either. I unlocked 6 lines of FS already, I'm 1,0,1,0 CP 1,4,1,0 ER 0,0,1,0 Senses.... needless to say, I'm not exactly "grinding" now.
I spend 90% of my time with JTL. PvP is not my thing since I can't stand being a Jedi doormat, I'm a PvE only BH due to the fact they borked my Pre-CU template... I sat through JTL Beta, I was an Alpha tester (LMAO!) I sat through CU/ROTW Beta.... I've stuck with this game and this Dev team through thick and freakin thin.
SOE, is it too much to ask? A second character slot, thats it. No super uber duder stuff. 2 years we've stuck it out with you, would it seriously hurt the "balance of the game" to give us 2 year vets a 2nd character slot plus some additional item or something?
We've listed plenty of options. Everyone seems to like the AT-PT idea, new playable ships, etc... ISD mini... give us a choice of one of those in addition to giving us a 2nd character slot. I've been here 2 years almost, I don't need more stuff taking up space, I need another toon to help lighten the load!

- AT-PT vehicle
- New Bunker style home (with 500 item storage)
- many other "materialistic" types of rewards....
IMHO, something like this would be worthwhile and ample compensation for sticking with SWG for this length of time.

Ok to the orginial poster , just because your a "old-timer" doesn't give you the right to 1 each of the vet. rewards 
. I am not saying this out of envy because I have another account that started the game before player cities were put in. Giving 1 each of all the rewards would hurt the economy of servers cause you know not all vets are keeping there rewards 
With the state of the game it is in should we really be hassling the devs to put hte vet rewards at the top of there list?? -thx

/sigh just saw a post stateing the vet rewards are not tradeable. I can't confirm or deny this as i have never sold any of my vet rewards. If it is true about not being tradeable I withdraw my privous post with full apoligies and agree.

That would be incredible. After two years, most of us have had the opportunity to play all the professions we have wanted to and visit all the POIs and dungeons we have wanted to. Having a Jedi would keep a lot of us bored players from contemplating the cancel button every month we get our credit card statements.
The second character slot would be awesome, too. Even better would be a second character slot with a different way to get Jedi-- perhaps one of the many guesses people had before Monika that were actually cool, rather than the profession unlocking or experience grinding jokes that somehow made it to live. If we wanted to grind professions or a pile of experience, we would have done it sometime in the past two years.
Hopefully it will be something cool, useful and tangible. Not another piece of junk to put in my house that's so full of loot and collectibles it looks like a museum...
