Honestly I think Krayt Dragon Ancients should be kept rare as before and make the others more prevelant.
Errr? These two statements makes no sense to me.
I mean: You think that the Ancient Krayt wasn't worth the effort, but still you want them to be more rare?

How to kill an Ancient Krayt Quickly
What you need
1 Commando with a nice Flamethrower
1 TK & Doc with lots of stims and dizzy state cures
What you do
Commando spams Flame Dot on Krayt
TK & Doc spams Warcry &intimidate & Heals the Commando

A few of us, three tanks, a few riflemen, a Master Combat Medic, a Master Doctor, and one guy that specialized in getting knocked to the ground (me) took on a giant and then an ancient over the weekend. Some of the folks were also Jedi.
We were all buffed and I had new armor which cost me 400,000 credits.
Everyone was concerned with the loot because of the value of a pearl.
The Giant Krayt was dead in less than an hour and looted -- nothing.
Well, I got some hide off of it for 2k in scouting xp but I can do that on Kimogila dragons too.
But because it looted nothing everyone went berserk,
So we went after an ancient and got served sunny side up.
We hit this thing for more than two hours, all our tanks were killed, all the docs were killed when it aggroed other ancients that would spawn every 150 meters or so.
The combat medic did the most damage (mind poison) but the tanks were able to reduce the ancient down to 1/6 in health hitpoints with 1/3 of the health bar in unrecoverable black wounds.
I'm getting wordy here but the ancient ran off and when we found it again it had regenerated all its hitpoints up to the wounds. So back up to 1/3 of its hp or just over 150k. We never did kill it and everyone went away with much less Jedi xp after dying.
My brand new armor which i put on right before the battle is now at about 60% in condition, soit lost about 160k in value.
What's the moral of this story?
If you can't stand the heat, stay out of theKrayt's Kitchen.

Ceasar and myself killed 4 of these two nights ago (I tankedthem allsolo! Made me feel good about myself. Haha!) and got a pearl plus tons of decent to uber scales. /shrug. This was, it didn't bother us because it only takes us ten minutes to kill each one....
u arent allowed to do this because people get mad and one star you and tell u u are a liar because they suck and cant do it

LOL, you have obviously never used a 1200+ damage flame thrower on a Krayt before. I had a group of 1 commando and 1 BH with a TKM tanking and Ancient feel down in minutes.

3 master swordsman, and a rifleman, took us a half hour or so to take one down, got base tissues and haven't killed one since....

We killed about 7 in a buff session. Was 2 Rifleman, 1 Swordsman and 1 Jedi.

I've never fought a Krayt... In fact I have a hunt planned for this coming week.... Well aren't the Krayts 100% to heat? How can a flamethrower damage it?

No, Krayt dragon ancients are 95% to everything (except lightsabers).
Don't think any Krayts have resists as high as 100%

Krayt hunting is no fun at this time due to the Jedi's (on Gorath) stealing the kills. Nothing like spending some time killing a krayt with your friends...and then 3 jedi come over and outdamage you and steal the loot from you. Not a bitching session...just an observation
