I have more than 900 dps with a rifle i bought for 8 mil (83 sac) and I use a speed pup... I have soloed a couple of krayts now but im thinking of changing from MR MBH pistols 0004 to MCM MR pist 0004

Get a probot or something. I know a TKM/MPike/4000 CM that can take down most anything, but he runs out of mind healing himself too much, so more damage has to be put on em from outside sources. Realistically you'd need a lot of stims, some mind boosting food, a high HAM to begin with, and still you'd probably have to run away and shoot him from time to time, just to survive.

Another way to solo Krayt, at least if you can survive the first few minutes, is find a wild lair of level 78-82 mobs next to the Krayt, and just drag the Krayt in the middle of the lair. Doesn't take a minute before it's lying on the ground.

Really so if I have 2 pistols both with 80 sac i should ignore the fact that one has 300dps and the other has 400dpsbecause it is a pointless stat

Still, I've seen most doc/tkm/swordsmen fall to ancient Krayts because they run outa mind and can't deal enough damage at once to save themselves. I guess it's possible with CoB to help cut down on the damage dealt, but really you're doing minimum damage most of the time, though I reckon armor break helps cut down on that. Just saying, 40k health is what you're up against with ancients and I've rarely seen many a melee take em down alone.

Use a med bot...2k health hits are alot better than 1500's...
Why would anyone go after an ancient anyways?...They all drop the same...From Juvies on up....You can kill alot more juvies and canyons in 1 hour than you can kill ancients...

Havent tried Solo'ing but is it even possible to Solo a Krayt (Prolly not an Ancient)with this Temp.?

I'm Master Pistols and Master Carbineer, plus some fs skills. What kind of chance do I have to solo one of these with this template?

I know a TKM master doc with enough swords for head hit and armor break who soloed necrosis the Katarn and the krayts so prolly with the right tacticks and a sliced katarn knuckle you could solo most of the krayts though you may want to drop pike for swords

Long as you can time your root well, and if you happen to have a snare as well, or maybe just your melee hit when he gets too close, it may be possible. Snaring is all you really gotta do, it's just hard for some professions to manage a consistent long snare while fighting Krayts.
And to the guy saying "Why solo an ancient?" I say, so that you can earn that badge and feel proud of it. Seeing as I earned mine first soloing, then helped those along who wanted it in a two-person group. It's just an ego thing, really, but if I'm out taking down Krayts all night, I might as well kill an ancient to say I killed the biggest and the best.

Just stay within 5m of it and drop ranged...The best NPC killing machines are always Melee. Pre CU / Post CU its all the same. Master Swords/Master Doc/ TKA 0100 and your good. Just have infusion running and Improved COB going as well. Keep Armor Break on it and watch it fall. You can also pull the Krayt with a ALR.

One could have low damage and high speed. So it is pointless.

I have seen rifleman root/ snare. rinse and repaet and solo them.
I do not have to much of a problem
