I would say yes fix this, but let attachments be retrievable through destruction of the clothes like the ADK is.
Same for Armor Attachments. AA's get rarely used unless you have an ADK. If you could retrieve it through destroying the piece of Armor they would get used a lot more. Would also put a meaning to those low boni stat attachments, they would be nice for new players or to fill up your armor attachment places.

Tailors are f-cked up the same as archis. Archis maybe a bit more. Once you could sell candles cause they were decaying of use, they removed this completetly. (YAY! we got a "fix" after 20 month which lowered our income even more) Harvesters are 1-sell items, houses are 1-sell items, factories are one-sell items. Most players now are fighter professions, they rarely use furniture anyway. With the new addons players get free furniture items on mass which overall look better then those craftable (see holo images etc). Every player who buys the new addon even gets a free guildhall. Lots of things on the archi profession are now broken for 20-24 month. Ideas for this profession are ignored nearly as long now. We can't even paint furniture, it's all the same!

Most crafting professions got useless due to CU. AS/WS are much more useless now, especially where a majority of the playes now are jedi anyway or will be soon. DE was never of much use, even harvesting droids are broken now. Combat droids never get destroyed. Only thing there is to build are tools for BH's.
Every addon thows a lot more good non-craftable items in.

This game needs a crafter revamp more then it ever needed a combat revamp, really!

Unacceptable to you. If something has a listed condition, then it will eventually decay to 0 if you don't take care of it. That's why I would fully agree to clothing repair by tailors. I'm not saying I LIKE the fact that my Endor helm or Black Sun Ace Helm degrades so quickly, but it is what hte Devs intended. Also, the Devs rarely care about what is "acceptable" to individuals in the community. If they did, then there wouldn't be hundreds of Jedi.

Besides, all of this is speculation right now. No Dev has stated that this fix is going to occur any time soon.

Forgive my bluntness (or not, doesn't matter to me) but I earned my Endor helmet, my Pilot Jacket and the same for anyone that owns a Black Sun Ace helmet. There's no excuse to take items away from players that actually earned those items by saying "Sorry, you've had it too long, kiss it good bye". For the record, I don't believe it's accurate to say "the Devs intended" anything with clothing decay, especially it being too fast, because they don't become worthless, you can still wear them. For all we know clothing decay is working as intended right now, and I choose to believe it is, because losing clothing, especially rewards, to decay is just stupid.

If the clothes could be repaired to full condition that's fine, but there's no reason that anyone should permanently lose clothing of all things. I'm with you on crafting professions needing content, but taking away from other players is not content.

I'm sorry, Rogue, but as a tailor, I completely disagree with you. People will buy new cothes. Also, it isn't that hard to find a tailor (just do a search and if that doesn't work, go to your galaxy's forum and ask for one) and most are more than happy to make the clothing you want. As for the rare loot, I agree it sucks, but if it reaches 0 condition, it becomes house decor. Clothing repair? I fully suppor the idea, but only tailors should be able to do it.

And as for all the complaints about CA's and AA's being lost...I don't think the Devs ever intended them to last forever. It's just a side-effect of this bug.

The highlighted is nothing less than unacceptable.

I honestly couldn't care less about CA or AA's, I never use them personally, but I see a lot of cancelled accounts if this came to be.

No,they should decay as usual. It just means you shouldn't be running around engaging in combat wearing the rebel helmet or nightsister bicep.

I still think item repair should be added back to the game, especially if this fix goes through sometime.
