Awesome, looks like this could be some kind of bug then. Atleast we have a pretty good idea why they weren't dropping for a lot of people. I'm headed to Fort Tusken now to see if it's the same with Feed Tubes.

It's not a bug, at least not across servers. They're just rare. Rare and random. Same with blue wires, same with agi motor schematics. The only truly rare (and notrandom, justrare)item appears tobe the feed tube.In the time it's taken me to camp 12 Blue Wires, 18 small power motors, 6 agi motors, about 20 clear crystalsand 80 color crystals, 3 clothing attachments and 4 flora and 3 metal recycler schems I have looted no feed tubes but 2 spinner blades. Also keep in mind Im talking 18 blue wires *before* the publish that increased the spawns at the POI. We're talking logging in every hour and 7 minutes to get the next triple spawn of hooligans at the door of the POI.

Have you ever played EQ? If you have you should know how rare/random drops work. Old school VP camp anyone? Remember the pained soul and oh god.. the rotting skeleton camps? How about the friggin green metal or the lucid shard from Maiden's Eye?

Dude... you stole someone's mission?

Not cool man. You even knew it was a mission.

Yeah that is pretty crappy.

wow...still talk about spinner blades...

Here's the rundown from my experience....

Spinner Blades = Semi Rare ....Drops from Hidden Dagger Extremists and Activists only (all 9 i got was from them and no others)

Metal Recycler Schema = Rare ...Drops from Canyon Corsair Captain (only? not confirmed....i hunt via missions not by POI and only spent 4 buff sessions on them. I say rare because if it is only from the captain variant...you need to find one and even then the drop rate isnt that high i think.)

Agitator Motor Schema = Rare ( same explaination as Metal Recycler schema)

Small Power Motor = Common Drop...Drops pretty readily from any Canyon Corsair and/or Blood Razors and/or Mercs

Feed Tube = Very Rare ....seems you need to go through a LOT of tuskens to get one

Blue Wire = unknown (from my experience)...have not tried to get this yet....i imagine it wouldnt take too long with the increase poi spawn time....but if someone is already camping it....then good luck on finding Binyare Hoodlums in the wild....

You're pretty dead on about everything except the metal recycler schematic. I got one off an elite Canyon Corsair, but the others ones I got were all Captains. So it appears to be both. Regardless the drop rate is rare.

Blue Wire's a pain in the ass. You're absolutely right about finding hooligans in the wild, you won't ( at least not easily). Missions don't spawn them and the static spawns appear to reset on server reboot and can be a chunker, sleemo or binayre hooligan, randomly. So if you find a wild spawn of them DON'T LEAVE.

Well, after spending a few buff sessions on Corellia and Lok, here are my observations to add to the rest...

Spinner blades: I was drawing Hidden Dagger missions at ~2400 credits and ~3400 credits in a solo group of 11. In about 2 hours, I got 4 spinner blades. All were looted off of Hidden Dagger Activists and I'm certain 3 of the 4 were off of 3400 credit missions that also had a Hidden Dagger Leader present. Initially, I was hitting on something like 1 of 4 loots of Activists, but my luck ran rather cold after that 4th looted spinner blade.

Activator motor and metal recycler schematics: Still in my solo group of 11 -- the Canyon Corsairs POI is being camped too much for the sole CC Captain that appears there, so I decided to try my luck with missions. I ran maybe 20-25 CC missions coming in around 13,200 credits. I had to have a LOT of patience in drawing these, since Nym Camps come in around the same value and are more frequent. A friend also had success with missions coming in at 12,900 in a solo group of 5 or 6. Both of us could also draw CC missions at over 14k per, but NONE of these camps had CC Captains. In the 20-25 missions I ran, all but 2 had Captains. I looted one Metal Recycler schematic and one Agitator Motor schematic from Captains on these missions. In about 10 missions, my friend also got an Agitator Motor from a CC Captain.

hth and good hunting
