Air is common, is it worthless?
The point was this, we have no idea what is useful or useless in pursuing the FSS. The dark Jedi Medalion could be anecessary, but almost trivial step in the process. On the other hand it could be junk. Air is necessary to life, though it is so common you have to go searching to find some environment that there is no air (even if that is your bathtub, LOL).
How are people evaluating whether this is a useless item or not. It seems easy to obtain. They don't know of any use for it. Their in-game friends don't know of any use. The internet doesn't list any use. They can't combine it with anything. When you equip it it doesn't show up on your toon (now this is interesting, if not even worth something. The only other things that I've ever seen that are strangely invisible to others in-game are the ordinary dialog boxes given as part ofsome NPC quests. The "you have the heart of a Jedi" dialog of Borvo and the dialog bubbles from that Drakkar(?) Jedi chick on Dantooine are two examples). The devs haven't said anything about it. No FSS person has said anything about it. None of this proves anything since we know NOTHING CONSTRUCTIVE about the path.
It is the same way with all of the FSS theories on this board. No one knows whether it will be based on completing quests or grinding through a bunch of skills, or whatever. Therefore, no one knows which theory toconsiderto be worth something and according to the devs we might not even know if a FSS person tells us what they did. The only thing we know how to do is to deconstruct someone's thepry. We can look at what someone says, find a dev statement that appears to contradict their theory (regardless of whether the devs statement contradicts other dev statements), and flame the everlovin ^&*% out of someone for putting an idea out there... LOL, I guess we'll al get what we deserve.
PS Enjoying the game should be common, is that worthless, too?

What did you mean when you said "of course it's worthless", if you didn't mean that everything that is common is worthless? If you can clarify this point I am interested in hearing what you have to say.
Plus, I would be really, really interested if you had some inside info on why you know that this item is not useful or worthless!!!!!

We can sit here and discuss a philosphical approach to imagined worth if you want, it's obvious to most what the point really is. Trying to sit here and argue that air isn't worthless as a means of proving a point over an in-game item is so juvenile that I am not going to go there. I am not trying to be rude, but I think I'm succeeding anyway, so please forgive the "tone" of this post... I don't have much patience today fo inane discussion.
I got it from a NPC mission in Rustuss. I was suposed to deliver it but never got around to doing it. Besides, I like it and wear it always.
It also counts as junk. If you go to a junk dealer, don't hit "sell all junk" because you will lose your medallion. This is assuming you want to keep it. You cannot see it when you wear it (I'm guessing) because there is no properly formatted graphic for it. No big deal, really.
