why are you glad they nerfed the DJM loot? probably because you aren't an imperial or aren't good enough to solo them yourself for good loot. theres no way you can sit there and say "oh yay!! they nerfed loot!!!" DJK and DJM dropping high end SEA's and premium crystals did make some people pretty rich, but it also made these items available to players who otherwise could not get them. now that this has been nerfed, there is no way for jedi to get premium crystals, and there won't be any more +25 SEA's either. so now that you're so glad this is fixed b/c ppl were making so much money, how do you feel about the people who still have these +25 attachments and will be selling them for 2x or 3x the price they would have gone for? now THAT is people getting rich off loot. I just sold a +13 LS experimentation, +25 ranged defense tape a couple days ago for 25 mil. Now that this loot is nerfed a tape like that will probably sell for 30 mil or more because it will be so hard if not impossible to find.
so i'm pissed that you say you're happy about this loot nerf. lets see how happy you are when you're trying to find some nice skill mod attachments or some nice premium crystals but you can't find any for less than 20 mil. people farming this loot was good for the game and didn't hurt the economy at all. big deal people were making 20 mil for an attachment, but how is anything wrong with that if someone ALREADY HAS 20 mil to shell out for it. nobody can justify the loot nerf that has falllen upon the DJK. if anything it's worse for the economy. now the items that were not hard to obtain will skyrocket in price and ppl who could afford them before are now left in the dark with no loot and no money. i'm glad i went imperial, partially just to be able to farm the DJK. i only had less than a week to farm but in that time i made over 20 million credits. before I had almost no money at all. so how did that hurt the game? it just made me some money along with everyone else who sold tapes and whatnot. obviously people already had enough money to pay 20 mil for one item. now the prices will be much higher and no one except the extremely rich will be able to afford high end loot like that, which wont really matter anyways because the only ones left are ones that ppl are saving.

whatever....everyone knows that it was exploited to hell..for almost 2 years you didnt see all these supposedly uber SEA on the forums and now all of a sudden there being flooded with them

That's because if you killed dark jedi's before the Cu they would mainly drop the exceptional weapons& the junk items and hardly ever CA's/AA's but they took the weapons out of the equation.

I wish I could find the original post quoting the devs, but I was under the impression that DJMs dropping high end tapes was the combination of two unintended glitches in the system

1. Mobs should not have been CL298. This was a bug, possibly due to the DJM and DJK NPCs not being balanced for the CU.

2. Loot level was tied directly to CL level. So CL80 mobs were dropping the more common high end loot of pre CU. Obviously, with CL tied to loot quality, they would have zero chance of dropping +25 tapes and the like, unlike pre CU when they at least had a small chance.

So these two factors combined meant that DJM NPCs were dropping +25 tapes when this should not have been the case.

The level system was only used for what determined the level of loot droped was not I REPEAT WAS NOT tied into the game and gave a dmg multiplier. Each creature was specific did its own dmg had its own ham. Bosses had increased dmg and life and actually took teamwork to kill in most instances. Ancient krayts were like lvl 300 they droped flawless pearls and also droped double stat +25 seas Game loot drops was rated on the cl there combat was not putting these multipliers in is just a joke and reducing there ham to make them easy for master defenders is a joke to. Nothing in the game should hit that hard And nothing in the game should drop so easily at that level.

now anything 2-3 levels above you is 1-2 hit kills. There is no strat in places like the dwb with 1 hit kill sbds only option is master defenders running avoid incap great job ......

So why is it, me, a NON-jedi can take like 3 or more hits from grievous (12 levels above me) and can easily solo things up to cl 90?
