Most junk vendors give them away! Check any major city's junk vendors, they're easier to find. (The one in Coronet is near the starport, hang a left when you come out the front door.)

I wouldnt bother with the fireworks. Just ask an artisan to make you some, they end up with more charages and look better.

You can get the loot kits from Junk dealers
Loot kits make the following: Blue Rug, Orange Rug, Giant Gong, Naboo sculpture
Each loot kit requires 10 sub components: 1 adheasive (ie. Gong adheasive, Blue Rug Adheasive, ect), 2 specialty pieces (gong skin front, gong skin back, Blue Rug patches, Blue Rug dye, ect) and 7 minor pieces (ie. Gong Base 1-7, Blue Rug thread 1-7, ect)
From what I've read (and from experience.. Have not looted any parts in a long time) I don't think these pieces drop any more.
Some of these parts can be found on the Bazarre under the Misc catagory.
